It's that time of year again, when the most fashionable people on the planet join forces for the Met Gala.
And we can't wait to see what the stars will be wearing on the red carpet for this year's theme Rei Kawakubo & Comme des Garçons.
But before the biggest night in fashion kicks off, here are some of the most memorable moments from the event in recent years.
Beyoncé showed up late to the Met Gala in 2015, and then proceeded to turn every head on the red carpet in her jaw-dropping look.
The pop star, who was accompanied by Jay Z, joined the trend of nearly naked dresses in a revealing sheer and embellished Givenchy gown.
The following year Beyoncé's look was more tame, and fans of the singer - who is pregnant with twins - are hoping she'll be back tonight in another striking dress.
Rihanna has long frequented the event, but it was her 2015 look that goes down in history as perhaps the most talked about Met Gala ensemble of all time.
The star wore a yellow fur-trimmed coat with an impossibly long train by Guo Pei for the China: Through The Looking Glass theme.
Social media users were quick to create a huge array of memes for the outfit, and Rihanna is set to return tonight - so be prepared for another dramatic dress.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Some fashionistas weren't happy with seeing Kim Kardashian make her Met Gala debut, and people were very divided over the floral gown and gloves she wore while pregnant with North in 2013.
But the reality star - who will walk the red carpet tonight - knocked it out of the park with last year's Manus x Machina theme, wearing a gorgeous skintight silver Balmain gown.
Olivier Rousteing also dressed her husband Kanye West, who teamed his look with pale blue contacts.
Blake Lively has worn some gorgeous gowns to the Met Gala over the years, but she is yet to top her stunning 2014 look.
The actress looked like a movie star who had just stepped out of old Hollywood in her blush-coloured Gucci dress, teamed with red lipstick and curls.
Blake skipped the event in 2015 but was there last year, so fans are hoping she will be attending tonight.
Claire Danes transformed into Cinderella at the Met Gala last year.
The Homeland star's theatrical ice blue Zac Posen gown was already a red carpet hit, but she proved her commitment to the Manus x Machina theme as the dress lit up and glowed.
Claire has also worn Valentino and Oscar de la Renta designs to the event in the past.
Solange turned heads in a futuristic Giles dress at the 2015 Met Gala, which fortunately was the only reason she made headlines at that year's event.
In 2014, TMZ infamously published shocking CCTV footage from an elevator which showed Solange attacking her brother-in-law Jay Z at a Met Gala afterparty.
While the family have put the drama behind them, the clip led to speculation that Jay Z had cheated on Beyonce, and fuel was only added to the rumours last year after the release of her album Lemonade, when she attended the event alone.
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik made for an adorable duo at the Met Gala last year in coordinated outfits.
While Zayn wore robot style armour on top of the arms of his tuxedo, Gigi picked a sheer silver frock with sequin detailing.
The event was actually the pair's red carpet debut, and one year later they are still going strong.
Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker has always gone the extra mile when it comes to her Met Gala looks.
But the actress's best year was 2014, when she was also acting as the co-chair alongside Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
Sarah Jessica wore a stunning black and gown with an impressive train by the late Oscar de la Renta, adding white evening gloves to enhance the look.
It's no surprise that Jennifer Lopez would pick a sexy dress for the Met Gala.
And the singer didn't disappoint in 2015, when she wore a red Versace gown with several nude cut-outs, including a huge hole on one side that revealed she wasn't wearing any underwear.
JLo didn't attend the event last year, but if she is back tonight there's no doubt it will be in another racy creation.
The beginning of Hiddleswift
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston dated for just three months last summer before their relationship fizzled out.
But before they got together, the pair were caught on camera enjoying a hilarious dance off inside the 2016 Met Gala.
Taylor was dating Calvin Harris at the time, but the relationship ended a month later and two weeks after that, she was seen kissing Tom.
