Chris Cornell's daughter Toni delivered a moving tribute to her late father on Good Morning America.

The 12-year-old performed a heartbreaking rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah with OneRepublic, which left the audience in tears.

The song was dedicated to the Soundgarden frontman and his close friend Chester Bennington from Linkin Park, who committed suicide within two months of each other.

"Chester sang this at Chris' funeral and this is arguably one of the greatest songs written in the last 50 years, I think by most people's accords," OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder said. "It's a very special song to us and I think to most people and especially to Toni, as well."

Toni added: "It's an honour to perform this for my dad and Chester and to sing for them."
